Carlingford as a Youth Worker running a teenage Boys Refuge.

Coordinator for NSW and for Scripture Union as the Schools Coordinator that included ISCF and

An interview with Rob Lamont

Are you married?
Yes. To Jenni who is a part time community nurse and we have one married son with three children.
When you are not teaching how do you fill in your time?
Home renovating fills a lot of spare time but is hopefully going to be completed soon.
I also like camping, working on restoring a kit car and reading.
Are you involved in other areas of Youth Work?
For many years I have been on the board of Directors for Teen Ranch down in Cobbitty
and I own and manage Waratah Lodge, Katoomba. I also help a range of other youth ministries like
Young Life who are hoping to get their own Youth Camp site soon.
What attracts you to teaching SRE?
“High School is the one place in life that all people share in common
and it is in these formative years that many of our current church members
came to a salvation faith.
I see School ministry as being one of the most crucial and important ways to reach out
effectively for Christ. It is also a time when people seem to have the most questions
and we need Christians to be available to help work through the answers in a
God-directed way.
Being a Scripture teacher is one of the greatest privileges anyone can have.”
